Board Butter – Natural Wood Conditioner

Keep your wooden kitchenware looking its best with our Board Butter, a simple blend of high-quality food-grade mineral oil and natural Devonshire beeswax. Designed to nourish and protect the wood, the mineral oil penetrates the timber while the beeswax helps create a protective, water-resistant surface and leaves a smooth, natural finish.

Ideal for chopping boards, serving boards, wooden utensils and other unfinished or oil-finished wooden kitchenware, regular application helps prevent the wood from becoming dry and keeps its natural grain looking rich and vibrant. Easy to apply and made with just two carefully chosen ingredients, it's a simple way to give well-used wooden pieces a little ongoing care.

How to Use

Ensure the wood is clean and completely dry. For routine maintenance, no sanding is normally required. If the surface feels rough or is being refinished, lightly sand in the direction of the grain and remove all dust before applying.

Apply a small amount of Board Butter evenly with a clean, lint-free cloth, working it into the wood. Allow it to absorb before buffing away any excess with a clean cloth.

Re-apply whenever the timber begins to look or feel dry.
